OneBeyond is one of the UK’s fastest-growing value retailers, offering affordable, quality products across more than 100 stores nationwide. Since opening our very first store in 2019, we’ve rapidly expanded to become a trusted destination for budget-friendly shopping across the UK high street.

With over 5,000 product lines in-store, we provide unbeatable value across homeware, cleaning, DIY, seasonal products, health & beauty, pet accessories, baby essentials and everyday household items - all at prices designed to help customers make their money go further.

 

From One Below to OneBeyond

In 2023, the business transitioned from One Below to OneBeyond, reflecting our commitment to offering customers even greater choice, wider price points, and an expanded product range. The rebrand allows us to serve a broader audience while staying true to our core mission: delivering exceptional value on the high street.

 

Based in Barnsley, South Yorkshire

Our Head Office and 250,000 sq. ft distribution centre are proudly based in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, supporting our nationwide network of stores. This central UK location enables efficient stock distribution and supports our ambitious expansion plans.

After successfully trading through the challenges of the coronavirus pandemic, OneBeyond continues to grow at pace, opening new stores and bringing affordable shopping to more communities across the UK.

 

Founded by High Street Retail Experts

OneBeyond was founded by retail entrepreneurs Chris and Christopher Edwards, the original founders of Poundworld. Under their leadership, Poundworld grew to 350 stores across Great Britain and Northern Ireland before being sold to private equity firm TPG Capital in 2015.

Following Poundworld’s exit from the UK high street in 2018, a significant gap was left in the value retail market. Today, OneBeyond is proudly filling that gap -  delivering the same passion for value retailing, while building a modern, fast-growing discount store brand for today’s shoppers.
